Electrical Construction Manager – Data Centre Project – Amsterdam, Netherlands

€90K–€95K + Package | Accommodation + Travel + Rotation + €1,200/month Living Allowance

A leading European contractor dedicated to hyperscale data centre delivery is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee electrical installation on a major live project in Amsterdam.

With over 500MW of IT load currently under construction across Europe, this business is growing rapidly and is known for delivering complex, fast-track projects from design to commissioning. This is a key leadership role for an individual with deep experience in electrical coordination on large-scale builds.

Role Overview:

You’ll take responsibility for the electrical installation and delivery of the project on-site, working closely with subcontractors, internal teams, and client stakeholders to ensure progress, compliance, and quality throughout. You’ll also play a critical role in site safety, planning, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the full electrical construction plan, resource schedule, and equipment coordination
• Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure quality control across all electrical installation
• Manage health & safety compliance and lead by example on-site
• Track programme milestones, budgets, and installation progress
• Liaise with QA/QC, commissioning teams, and wider MEP management
• Ensure adherence to local regulations, permits, and international standards
• Maintain accurate reporting, site logs, and project documentation
• Manage risk proactively, resolving delays or non-conformances on site

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 8+ years’ experience in electrical construction management within M&E contracting
• Experience delivering large, high-value technical projects
• Data centre or mission-critical project experience is a strong advantage
• Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and site management systems
• Comfortable working on a rotational basis in Amsterdam

Salary & Package:

• €80,000 – €90,000 base salary
• €1,200/month net living allowance
• Accommodation and flights provided
• Rotation: 10:4 or similar model
